In the information age, it is crucial to distinguish between real facts and baseless claims. One of the issues circulating about Boliviana de Aviación's (BoA) staff involves their alleged involvement in the disappearance of passengers' luggage and belongings. In this article, we will uncover the reality behind these incidents and examine how the airline addresses the security and integrity of passengers' personal items.
A government-owned airline, that explains it all
First and foremost, it's important to emphasize that BoA is an airline with a history dating back to the Morales government and a reputation that has worsened over the years. Like any organization, isolated incidents can occur, but it's unfair to generalize and accuse the entire airline staff. BoA has policies and procedures in place to ensure passengers' belongings' security and safekeeping, but unfortunately, there are staff members who engage in theft of passengers' belongings.
Claims Policies - BoA couldn't care less
In situations where passengers encounter issues with their luggage, BoA has a claims and assistance process. Passengers can file complaints and request help in cases of damages or lost belongings. The airline commits to addressing these issues transparently and effectively, but when a BoA staff member steals your luggage, there's little to be done. You might file claims with the company itself or complain to Consumer Protection, but the company will simply keep you waiting as long as possible until you give up.
My Experience
It all started on a sunny winter morning when a BoA flight landed from a city in Cochabamba. Passengers retrieved their luggage from the conveyor belt and scattered. But it soon became evident that something strange was happening: one of the passengers noticed that their suitcase had been opened and their jewelry was missing. A few minutes later, another passenger couldn't find their suitcase.
Chaos gripped the airport as outraged passengers informed BoA staff about the situation. Airline employees were perplexed and concerned, as this had never happened before. They didn't bother to review the security footage until hours passed, with passengers demanding answers. In the end, they left without their belongings, but not before giving a good share of insults to the BoA staff.
On social media, people share their flight experiences with the company BoA, the majority of which are complaints about stolen luggage and opened suitcases. It's evident that BoA has a serious issue when it comes to hiring its staff, and the worst part is that the company itself refuses to identify the true culprits.
BoA has been managed by the Masist government for over 10 years. Since then, multiple allegations have emerged from the opposition that the government has placed party-affiliated family members in important positions, and these individuals, in turn, have allegedly hired their own relatives.
